Day 1: Clay, Fire, and visitor’s Engagement
Welcome ceremony with local songs or folktales.
Guests begin their journey by shaping clay with their hands what we locally brand “Runonko molding” using natural materials like clay soil. Fire-making experience using traditional methods like use of sticks
Roast & Fireside Storytelling
As the sun rise and the cool night air settles in, gather around the glowing fire for a communal roast. Potatoes, freshly foraged from the hillsides, are roasted to perfection crispy on the outside, soft and smoky within.
After the meal, the circle becomes a stage for storytelling. Visitors and community youth share tales of grazing cattle, foraging for food, and the traditions that have sustained generations. These stories, passed down by word of mouth, weave together humor, wisdom, and cultural memory, offering guests a rare glimpse into the rhythms of rural life.

Grazing Grounds & Tales Around Trees
Encounter the rural life with guided bush walks that simulate grazing and animal tracking. Along the way, forage or harvest potatoes (seasonal), learning how communities have sustained themselves through generations of knowledge and practice.
As the day unfolds, join a lively cook-off whose potatoes will achieve the caramelized crust of dreams. Around the trees and open fire, stories flow tales of grazing grounds, foraging traditions, and the wisdom of living close to nature.
