Day 1: Cultural Immersion & Forest Adventure

You will have Morning Kigali City Tour. Visit historical and cultural landmarks like the Kigali Genocide Memorial, local art galleries, and bustling markets.

Later drive to Nyungwe National Park destination. Enjoy scenic stopovers en route to Nyungwe, including views of rolling hills and traditional villages.

Experience Igishigishi Trail Hike & Canopy Walk. Hike the Igishigishi trail, a short but scenic trek through dense forest and vibrant flora. Experience the Canopy Walk, a suspended bridge 60 meters above the forest floor—perfect for spotting birds and monkeys.

You will have an evening Lodge Check-in-Relax at your chosen accommodation (options range from budget lodges to luxury retreats like One &Only Nyungwe House).

Dinner and overnight stay surrounded by nature’s soundtrack.

Day 2: Chimpanzee Trekking & Return

Experience the morning Chimpanzee Trekking

Depart around 5:30–6:00 AM for briefing at the park headquarters. Trek through misty forest trails in search of habituated chimpanzee groups—watch them feed, play, and interact in their natural habitat.

Late morning Return to Lodge, freshen up, enjoy a hearty breakfast, and prepare for departure. In afternoon Drive Back to Kigali Optional lunch stops or souvenir shopping along the way.
