Detailed trip

Day 1: Transfer from Bulisa or Kampala to Lake Mburo National Park and Night Game Drive

Early morning departure from Entebbe or Kampala. Drive through the countryside, with a stop at the Equator for photos and a break. Arrival at Lake Mburo National Park, the only place in Uganda to observe zebras in the wild.

Night game drive to spot nocturnal animals like leopards, hyenas, bushbabies, and porcupines.

Day 2: Early Morning Game Drive and Afternoon Boat Cruise

Early morning game drive to explore the savannah park and spot impalas, slender mongooses, bush rats, and Bushell zebras. Birdwatching opportunities with over 350 bird species, including papyrus endemics like the papyrus Gonolek.

Afternoon boat cruise to spot crocodiles, buffalos, hippos, and the endangered sitatunga. Chance to see the prehistoric shoebill in the swamp.

Day 3: Cycling Tour and Transfer Back to Kampala

Guided cycling tour in the park, passing zebras, giraffes, and impalas. This tour takes 1-2 hours. After the activity we transfer back to Kampala via the Equator.
