Day 1: arrival at Entebbe international airport
You will be welcomed by our nature safari guide at the airport who will transfer you to lodge or guest house for an overnight. Papyrus Guest House
Day2: Transfer to Kibaale-Bigodi wetland sanctuary
You will arrive in Bigodi in the afternoon or evening and do Bigodi nature walk along the wetland which is adjacent to the park. On this walk there is variety of wildlife to observe like bird species, monkeys, plant species among others

Day 3: Chimpanzee AM at Kibaale National Park
After early morning breakfast, we shall drive to the park headquarters in Kanyanchu for a briefing about the dos and don’ts whilst with chimpanzee. Unlike Mountain gorilla, chimpanzee doesn’t settle as they swing from tree to another. The time for this activity depends on where the chimpanzees were left the previous day. Chimpanzee share 98.2 % DNA with people so they are our closest relatives and this makes them more intelligent.
Day 4: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth for evening boat cruise and game drive
Located on the foothills of Rwenzori Mountain, the savannah, acacia woodland, forest, wetland and open water support a wide range of animals and over 600 remarkable bird species.
For wildlife lovers, the best way to explore the park is by doing the game drives with hundreds of miles of game tracks.
You will have a boat cruise for water excursion along kazinga channel which separates lake Edward and George. These lakes have the biggest concentration of hippos on addition to monitor lizards and crocodiles along the shores of the lake. You have chance to spot the elephants, bushbucks, waterbucks which visit the park to quench thirsty.
Day 5: Game drive queen, Katwe fishing village plus Salt Lake
We shall have an early morning breakfast then head straight the park for a game drive, early morning gives us opportunity to spot the animals of savannah in their ecosystem. We have many chances to spot the big four- the animals which rules in savannah parks, the cats, elephants, pottos, red river hog, bush pigs, white-tailed mangoes among others.
After game drive we shall visit the salt lakes-we have salt lakes Katwe and Bunyampaka the important traditional sources of salt mining for Toro and Bunyoro kingdoms. Not much has changed, there is still coexistence between man and wildlife
Day 6: Game drive in ishasha and Transfer to Buhoma
For spectacular scenery and unique wildlife, go to ishasha, tree climbing lions are best viewed in this sector, while Topi can also be found here, but nowhere else in the park. The ishasha river is the hippo filled water way that forms the boarder-line between DR Congo and Uganda as it flows north to L. Edward
After a game drive in ishasha the southern sector of the park, we shall drive to Buhoma the northern sector of Bwindi where the first gorilla tracking was registered for an overnight.
Day 7: Gorilla tracking and Batwa experience
There is no complete safari to Uganda without tracking in Bwindi Impenetrable national park. After early morning briefing you will head to the starting point of gorilla trekking trail as you start your journey for mountain gorilla trekking. The duration of this experience depends on where these forest giants were left the previous day but after locating them you are only allowed 1 hour with them but an experience worth value for your money.
Day 8: Transfer to Volcanoes park-evening at Gorilla guardian in kinigi
Gorilla Gurdian- the former ibyiwachu was established to support the reformed poachers. The Batwa community who used to do poaching in volcanoes park were sensitized and taught the alternative of attaining the livelihood minus hunting. These people are now successfully doing other projects for their livelihoods like goat rearing project, agriculture and also traditional performance group which performs for the guest who visit the site, by doing this activity, you are supporting the Batwa indirectly and conservation, part of income earned at Gorilla Gurdian supports these community.

Day 9: Dian Fossey hike
After early morning breakfast, we shall head to the park headquarters for the briefing about Dian Fossey hike. This trek takes about 3–4 hours and includes a drive to the start point, a trek through a bamboo and hagenia forest sharing information from a local guide.
After hiking, we visit the Dian Fossey Gorilla Museum-a place with all information about the time she was in volcanoes national park. This museum is worth visiting as it includes everything about Dian Fossey in volcanoes.
Dian Fossey was an American primatologist and conservationist known for undertaking an extensive study of mountain gorilla groups from 1966 until her murder in 1985. She studied them daily in the mountain forests of Rwanda, initially encouraged to work there by paleoanthropologist Louis Leakey.Â
Day 10: Bisoke hike
After early morning breakfast you will head to Volcanoes Park headquarters for you day briefing about the start of Bisoke hike. Mount Bisoke is an active volcano in Virunga mountains of Albertine rift, the western branch of the East Africa rift. It straddles the border of Rwanda and the Democratic Republic of the Congo, but the summit is located in Rwanda. It is located approximately 35 km northeast of the town of Goma and the adjacent Lake Kivu. Bisoke has two recorded eruptions which happened in 1891 and 1957.Â
There is evidence that the area where this eruption occurred is still geologically active, suggesting the likelihood of future activity at Bisoke.

Day 11: Golden monkey and transfer to Kigali International Airport
After early morning breakfast, we shall drive to volcanoes park headquarters to start our golden monkey trekking with briefing about rules, regulations and expectations while with these endangered species. This is one of the most visited tourist attractions in volcanoes gorilla national park after gorilla tracking. One habituated golden monkey group in Mgahinga gorilla national park is open to visitors every day. This experience will take us 4-5 hours depending on where these species are located
After this experience, we shall transfer to Kigali
