Day 1: Arrival & Kigali City Tour

Pickup from Kigali International Airport or your hotel. Kigali Genocide Memorial-a powerful and reflective experience. Craft Markets & Cultural Canters: Discover Rwandan art, music, and local life.

Evening Transfer to Musanze (near Volcanoes National Park). Scenic drive through Rwanda’s “Land of a Thousand Hills.”

Overnight at a lodge with views of the Virunga volcanoes.

 Day 2: Gorilla Tracking in Volcanoes National Park

Early Morning Briefing at Kinigi Park headquarters Gorilla Trekking, Venture into the misty rainforest to meet a habituated gorilla family. Spend up to one hour observing their behavior—an unforgettable encounter.

Afternoon Visit to Gorilla Guardians Village, engage with ex-poachers turned conservationists, Enjoy traditional dance, drumming, and storytelling.

Have an evening relaxation at your lodge and soak in the day’s magic.

 Day 3: Golden Monkey Trekking & Twin Lakes Escape — Nature’s Double Enjoyment

Begin your day with an early breakfast before heading to Volcanoes National Park, home to the endangered Golden Monkeys. These energetic primates are known for their striking golden-orange fur, playful nature, and acrobatic leaps through the bamboo canopy. Trekking is guided by expert trackers who help you navigate the forest and locate the monkeys in their natural habitat. Expect to spend about 1–2 hours observing their behavior, foraging patterns, and social interactions.

Twin Lakes Burera & Ruhondo visitafter the trek, head to the Twin Lakes of Burera and Ruhondo nestled at the base of the Virunga volcanoes. These lakes were formed by volcanic activity and offer mirror-like reflections of the surrounding peaks, making them a photographer’s dream, the lake is also used to produce some electricity for the region

You will have Optional activities including Boat Ride: Glide across the serene waters and take in panoramic views’ Lakeside Picnic as you Enjoy a peaceful lunch with the backdrop of misty hills and bird calls. Add on your birdlife checklist, you will have chances to Spot kingfishers, herons, and other lake-dwelling species.

Evening Lodge Retreat, Return to your lodge for a hearty dinner. Wind down with storytelling around the fire, sharing tales of the day’s adventures with fellow travelers.

 Day 4: Return to Kigali & Departure

Leisurely Breakfast and optional stop at local markets. Drive Back to Kigali (approx. 2–3 hours). Drop-off at your hotel or airport for onward travel.
