Day 1: Arrival in Kigali& Voyage to Akagera
Upon your arrival depending on your flight time, begin your Rwandan adventure with a visit to the Kigali Genocide Memorial, a powerful and moving tribute to resilience and remembrance.
Enjoy a delicious local meal at one of Kigali’s vibrant restaurants. This will help you enjoy the local causine of Rwanda before transfer to Akagera National Park: Drive eastward through Rwanda’s picturesque countryside to Akagera. The journey takes about 2.5 hours. Check in and unwind as you settle into Akagera Transit Lodge—your cozy retreat for the next two nights. Nestled just minutes from the southern gate of Akagera National Park, this charming lodge blends modern comfort with traditional Rwandan warmth. Whether you’re lounging by the fireplace, enjoying a hearty meal at the restaurant, or simply soaking in the serene surroundings, it’s the perfect place to recharge before and after your safari adventures

Day 2: Full-Day Safari & Sunset Cruise
Early in the morning after breakfast, Head to the park reception for registration, then begin your morning game drive in search of the BRELL Big Five animals that rules in savannah—lion, leopard, rhino, elephant, and buffalo—as well as giraffes, zebras, antelopes, and countless bird species.
Enjoy the bush lunch which will be our packed lunch surrounded by the sights and sounds of the savannah.
In the afternoon Safari Drive-Continue your wildlife exploration, covering different zones of the park for a chance to spot elusive creatures.
On the same day represent on Sunset Boat Cruise on Lake Ihema: cruise across the tranquil waters as the sun dips low, spotting hippos, crocodiles, and water birds in golden light. After head back to the lodge for dinner and relaxation.

Day 3: Return to Kigali & Cultural Stop
After sluggish morning breakfast, drive back to Kigali with hearts full of memories. We shall have optional program of visiting one of the biggest markets in Rwanda. -the Kimironko Market: If time allows, explore Kigali’s bustling market and craft shops for souvenirs, crafts, and local flavor.
