Route 1, Nairobi–Mombasa Road via Emali, drive southeast on the Nairobi–Mombasa highway. At Emali, turn onto the Emali–Loitokitok road.
Follow signs to Iremito Gate or continue to Kimana Gate via Kimana town.
Approximate travel time: 3–4 hours.
Route 2: Nairobi–Namanga Road via Meshanani Gate, Head south toward Namanga. From Namanga, take the murram road to Meshanani Gate.This route is scenic and passes through Maasai territory.
Amboseli has the most exciting route-From Coastal Kenya (Mombasa, Tsavo East/West), drive approximately 460 km to Amboseli via Kimana Gate.
This route connects travelers from Tsavo National Parks, making Amboseli a natural extension of a southern Kenya safari circuit.
