Day 1: Arrive in evening and sleep at M Hotel, Kigali
You will find our nature guide waiting for you at the airport, and you will head straight to a hotel for an evening relaxation. An overnight at M hotel
Day 2: Drive from Kigali to Queen with an evening game drive in Queen Elizabeth National Park.
After early morning breakfast, we shall head to queen to explore the wonders of savannah. We shall have an evening game drive to utilize our day, on a lucky day we can a tick on big five list. We shall have an overnight at Buffalo safari lodge
Day 3: Early morning in Queen and transfer to Kibale for afternoon chimp trekking (Kibale Forest Lodge)
After early morning game drive, we shall head straight to the park to have an early morning game drives to experience what queen best offers, we are likely encounter Lions, elephants, leopards, plus lots of bird species, the park offer almost 200-300 bird counts a day the fact that it is home to over 600 bird species thus making it the best birding destination in Africa.
On the same day we shall head straight to Kibaale national park- primate capital of Uganda for an afternoon chimpanzee trekking, Kibaale was branded the primate capital because of being home to 13 primates including chimpanzees thus offering an amazing chimp trekking experience
We shall have an overnight at Kibale Forest Cottages which offers best relaxation in nature
Day 4: (July 12) Drive from Kibale to Bwindi (Rushaga Gorilla Camp
After early morning breakfast, we shall drive straight to Bwindi impenetrable national park to prepare for a highlight of our safari. We shall have an evening relaxation besides the forests where you wake up with the sounds of the wild as you taste the local and international cuisine. If you arrive early, we might visit native Batwa community who inhabited the forest before being gazetted into conservation area. By doing or donating to these community, you’re not only conserving for mountain gorillas but also touching the lives of threatened Batwa community.
Day 5: Gorilla Trekking, and transfer to Kigali M Hotel in the evening.
After early morning breakfast we head to the park headquarters where you are told the dos and don’ts whilst with the great apes. You are only allowed to spend one hour with these creatures but this is worth your value for money. The period for this activity depends on where the mountain gorillas were left the previous day-the great moves freely in the forest feeding. A team of trackers follows their footprints, bend vegetation and after locating them they coordinate with the guides to make this experience breathtaking and amazing. We transfer to Kigali for an overnight and we shall have a next day as a relaxation date.
Day 6: Transfer to Kigali International airport for a night flight
After a whole day relaxation in Kigali, we shall have an evening transfer for a night flight for your next destination as we say finalize our 6 days classic Rwanda and Uganda.
