Day 1: Arrival in Kigali & Relaxation at M Hotel
Depending on your arrival time, you will be transferred to M Hotel for a well-deserved moment of relaxation. Nestled in a serene setting, this is your chance to unwind, refresh, and reflect as you prepare for the long-awaited journey into the heart of the Pearl of Africa.
Whether you choose to sip a warm Rwandan coffee, take a gentle stroll, or simply enjoy the comfort of your room, this pause sets the stage for the adventure ahead.

Day 2: Cross-Border Transfer to Uganda & Overnight in Nkuringo
At 8:30 AM Rwanda time, your guide will meet you for a scenic transfer from Rwanda to Uganda. The journey winds through the picturesque countryside, offering glimpses of vibrant community life—colorful markets, terraced hills, and daily rhythms that paint a rich cultural tapestry.
You will cross the Cyanika border, where immigration formalities are smoothly handled, before continuing directly to the Nkuringo sector of Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. This tranquil haven welcomes you with fresh mountain air and forest views, perfect for unwinding and preparing for the next day’s adventure.
Overnight: Kara Gorilla Lodge, Meal Plan: Full Board
Day 3: Rushaga Gorilla Tracking Adventure
Rise early for a hearty breakfast at Kara Gorilla Lodge, then set off for the day’s highlight: gorilla tracking in Nkuringo sector, drive short distance to the Gorilla starting point.
Upon arrival at the Nkuringo Visitors Reception, you will receive a detailed briefing at 8:00 AM from experienced Uganda Wildlife Authority rangers. Then, the real adventure begins—trekking through dense forest trails in search of one of Bwindi’s habituated gorilla families.
The duration of your trek varies depending on the gorillas’ movements. Each day is unique, shaped by nature’s rhythm.
Encounter once in lifetime experience, once you locate the gorillas, you will spend a magical one hour observing them in their natural habitat. Witness the gentle interactions, playful juveniles, and—if fortune favors you—the commanding presence of a Silverback.
After your forest experience, head back to your vehicle and drive directly to Kara Gorilla lodge, where hot showers and bottle of chilly drink or hot aroma coffee await to rejuvenate.
As the sun dips behind the misty ridges of Bwindi, guests gather for a magical sundowning experience. Set on a scenic terrace with panoramic views of the forest canopy, the evening begins with a chilled glass of Ugandan beer or wine in hand, paired with delicious homemade snacks crafted from local ingredients.
The air fills with rhythm and storytelling as a vibrant cultural performance unfolds—dancers, drummers, and singers from nearby communities share traditions passed down through generations. Day 4: Farewell Transfer to Kigali Airport via Kisoro
After an early breakfast, your guide will transfer you from Nkuringo to Cyanika Border, passing through the lively town of Kisoro. As you journey back to Kigali International Airport for your departure flight, the landscapes and memories of Uganda gently fade into the rearview mirror.
This is often the hardest part of the journey—because once you’ve set foot in Uganda, it leaves a mark on your soul. The warmth of its people, the rhythm of its culture, and the majesty of its forests make saying goodbye feel like the saddest word.
